Emily Tristan Jones was raised in the Northwest Territories, Prairies, and Maritimes. She studied visual arts at the University of Chicago, Banff Centre, and Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her poems have been in The Puritan, Harvard Review, Vallum, Denver Quarterly, White Wall Review, and other journals. Her first book of poems, Buttercup, will be published in Chicago in 2024. She lives in Montreal, where she edits Columba, online poetry quarterly.
