George Slobodzian was born in Saskatoon and divides his time between Montreal, where he teaches Literature at Dawson College, and Farnad, Slovakia, where he doesn’t. His work has appeared in various literary magazines across Canada.  Clinical Studies, a book of his poetry, was published by DC Books of Montreal. A book-length translation into German of his poetry, Dein heimliches Blut auf meiner glücklichen Zunge (Your Secret Blood on My Happy Tongue) was published by Mattes Verlag of Heidelberg.
